Dr. Tom Babu heads the Division of Diabetes & Endocrinology at Silverline Hospital. He is one among the few certified Endocrinologists in Kochi (Kerala, India). He did his basic undergraduate training in medicine from JSS Medical College, Mysore. During his student days he showed keen interest the field General/ Internal Medicine. He followed his passion by pursuing an MD in General Medicine. He was voted the best out going student in the MD exams. He did his super specialty training in the field of Diabetes and Endocrinology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi and was awarded the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Diabetes and Endocrinology. He had a brief stint at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota) where he was exposed to the world’s best in the field of Diabetes Endocrinology. He came back to India and founded Silverline hospital incorporating some of the best practices in health care from around the world. He is also armed with an MBA from Paris (ENPC).
